Bob Basa

Bob has been a full time member since 2010. A real pro. Dedicated and passionate. Bob has great leadership skills. He has on several occasions led the band on his own when Marco was not available.  Here is his bio:

With over 25 years of playing experience, Bob has earned a solid reputation in the Toronto music scene. His solid groove, easygoing demeanor, and professional attitude have kept him busily booked throughout the years.

Even though his working experience goes back to the late 80’s, his working career truly started after he graduated from the University of Toronto in 1993. He was quickly hired to perform on the Cruise Ship circuit (mainly out of Miami), both in bands and in orchestras. This was his main area of work from 1994-1998.

After returning to ‘land-life’, he began performing in the Toronto music scene, and also started touring with Warner recording artist, Robert Michaels. Between 1998 and 2003 he toured Canada from Vancouver to Halifax many times and also performed in the US on numerous occasions.

Bob is also an accomplished Music teacher – for the past decade, he has maintained a full schedule of students.

When not playing with The Casino Brothers Band , Bob can be seen performing with some of Toronto’s well established acts such as The Nomads, and  The Dave Murphy Band to name a few.

Since 2004 he has resided in Oakville, Ontario, where he lives with his wife, son, and daughter.
